New: Charts with Table Positions

From now on we will provide you for every matchday a new graphical overview which shows the development of the table positions of each team in a chart. The three curves for each team represent the distinct development with respect to all home games, away games as well as the total table positions.

You can find these new tables in our section ‘All team statistics’ (e.g. via the drop down menu on the right hand side). Here you can get directly to the [team statistics of the 1. Bundesliga 2013/14].

A few recent examples demonstrate the value added at a glance:

FC-Schalke-04 Example 1: Schalke 04 has started badly into the season 2013/14, but then worked themselves continuously to the top regarding all tables types:

Hannover-96 Example 2: Hannover 96 shows over the entire season 2013/14 a pronounced weakness away, while the team performs always much better in the home matches. The overall table position is therefore in between:

Eintracht-Frankfurt Example 3: Eintracht Frankfurt made strong away matches at the beginning of the season 2013/14, but weak games at home; over the course of the season the performances became increasingly balanced:

VFB-Stuttgart Example 4: VfB Stuttgart began the season 2013/14 very badly, followed by a strong period, which eventually turned again into a continuous downward trend reflecting the team’s current acute danger of relegation:
